Year 3 Creswell Crags November 2025

Year 3 had a cracking time at Creswell Crags to support our topic Stone Age! The weather was good which meant we were able to practise our survival skills outdoors making a shelter and hunting a bison! We learnt how to make a fire too.

In the caves we discovered art on the walls and were amazed at how small the space was. Turning our torches off to experience how the Stone Age people would have seen it was very scary!

To supplement our Science topic of rocks we held a variety of rocks, grouped them and thought about their properties.

Fun learning was had by all. Thank you again to all the parents who helped us on the day.
